Upward Stretch
An exercise used to increase flexibility and improve posture by stretching the body upwards.
Instructions
- Stand upright with feet shoulder-width apart.
- Raise your arms over your head, palms facing each other.
- Keep your shoulders relaxed and not hunched up towards your ears.
- Stretch upwards, feeling the elongation from your feet to your hands.
- Hold the position for 10-30 seconds, breathing deeply.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Not keeping the shoulders relaxed.
- Arching the back too much while stretching.
- Holding the breath instead of breathing naturally.
