Two Arm Kettlebell Jerk
The two arm kettlebell jerk involves lifting kettlebells overhead using momentum from the legs and a push press.
Instructions
- Begin standing with feet shoulder-width apart and a kettlebell in each hand, held in rack position.
- Dip your knees slightly, then explode upward, transferring momentum to the kettlebells.
- Push the kettlebells overhead as you drop into a squat position under the weights.
- Lock your arms overhead and stand up to complete the movement.
- Lower the kettlebells under control back to the rack position.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Not utilizing leg drive, leading to more shoulder strain.
- Allowing the lower back to arch excessively.
