Triceps Overhead Extension With Rope
Perform a triceps extension while holding a rope attachment overhead.
Instructions
- Attach a rope to the high pulley of a cable machine.
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, facing away from the machine.
- Grasp the ends of the rope with both hands and extend your arms fully overhead.
- Bend your elbows to lower the rope behind your head.
- Extend your arms back to the starting position by engaging your triceps.
- Repeat the exercise for the desired number of repetitions.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Using too much weight which causes improper form.
- Not fully extending the arms at the top of the movement.
- Flaring the elbows out instead of keeping them close to the head.
