Step Mill
A cardiovascular exercise performed on a machine where you "climb" continuously revolving stairs, simulating stair climbing.
Instructions
- Step onto the step mill and set your desired speed.
- Hold onto the rails lightly for balance but not too tightly.
- Maintain an upright posture, looking forwards.
- Use a natural stepping motion: place your whole foot on each step and push thru the heel as you rise.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Leaning too heavily on the rails.
- Looking down at your feet or machine console.
- Using only the toes to push off.
- Using too fast of a speed resulting in poor form.
