Standing Palms Up Barbell Behind The Back Wrist Curl
A wrist curl exercise that targets the forearms, performed by holding a barbell behind the back with palms up.
Instructions
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a barbell behind your back with your palms facing up.
- Keep your arms straight, and rest the barbell on your glutes.
- Curl your wrists upwards towards the ceiling to engage your forearms.
- Lower the wrists back down to the starting position in a controlled manner.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Using too much weight and compromising form.
- Not controlling the barbell during the lowering phase.
- Allowing the barbell to roll down the fingers instead of controlling it with the wrist motion.
