Standing One Arm Cable Curl
A single-arm exercise targeting the biceps using a cable machine.
Instructions
- Stand facing a cable machine with a single handle attached at the low setting.
- Grasp the handle with one hand, palm facing forward, and take a step back for tension.
- Keep elbow close to your side and curl the handle up towards your shoulder.
- Pause at the top of the movement and squeeze the bicep.
- Slowly lower the handle back to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch arms.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Using momentum by swinging the arm instead of isolating the bicep.
- Allowing the elbow to drift away from the body.
- Not fully extending the arm back to starting position.
- Using too heavy weight leading to poor form.
