Standing Cable Wood Chop
A 200-characters-or-less explanation of the exercise.
Instructions
- Attach a handle to a high pulley and stand sideways to the machine.
- Grab the handle with both hands above one shoulder.
- In one motion, pull the handle down across your body to your opposite hip while twisting your torso.
- Let your feet pivot naturally as you twist to allow full range of motion.
- Control the weight back to the starting position.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Using too much weight leading to poor form.
- Not allowing feet to pivot, reducing the range of motion.
- Using arms instead of the core to drive the motion.
