Standing Bent Over One Arm Dumbbell Triceps Extension
A 200-characters-or-less explanation of the exercise.
Instructions
- Get in a standing position with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold a dumbbell in one hand.
- Bend over slightly while keeping your back straight.
- Lift your elbow so that your upper arm is parallel to the floor, and extend your arm to straighten the elbow.
- Pause, then lower the dumbbell back to the starting position.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Using too much weight, which leads to swinging instead of controlled movements.
- Not fully extending the arm, reducing the range of motion.
- Arching the back too much, which can cause strain.
