Snatch Deadlift
A deadlift variant using a snatch grip, engaging more of the upper back.
Instructions
- Position your feet under the bar, hip-width apart.
- Grip the barbell with a wide grip, wider than shoulder-width.
- Lift the bar in a controlled manner, keeping it close to your body.
- Engage the upper back and core throughout the movement.
- Stand up straight and then slowly lower the bar back down to the starting position.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Rounding the back during the lift.
- Using a grip that is too narrow.
- Not engaging the upper back muscles.
