A powerful Olympic weightlifting exercise that involves lifting a barbell from the ground to overhead in one continuous motion.
Instructions
- Stand with feet hip-width apart and grip the barbell with a wide grip.
- Lift the barbell off the ground by extending your hips and knees, keeping your chest up.
- As the bar reaches your knees, shrug your shoulders and pull yourself under the bar, catching it above your head with straight arms.
- Stand up fully with the bar overhead, ensuring balance and control.
- Lower the bar back to the ground with control for the next repetition.
