Smith Machine Bench Press

Instructions
- Adjust the bench so it is flat or at a slight incline.
- Load the desired weight onto the Smith machine.
- Lie down on the bench with the bar at chest level.
- Grip the bar with hands slightly wider than shoulder-width.
- Disengage the bar from the hooks to start.
- Lower the bar to your chest, keeping your elbows at a 45-degree angle.
- Press the bar back up to the starting position without locking elbows.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Locking elbows at the top of the movement.
- Lifting too much weight causing improper form.
- Not keeping feet flat on the ground.
- Letting the bar bounce off the chest.
