Single Leg Stride Jump
A plyometric exercise focusing on power and agility using one leg jump strides.
Instructions
- Stand on your right foot with your left leg lifted slightly off the ground.
- Swing your arms and left leg forward as you jump forward off your right foot.
- Land softly on your right foot and immediately onto your left foot in a quick stride motion.
- Continue the jump stride for the desired distance or reps.
- Switch legs and repeat the movement.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Landing too hard on the foot which increases impact on joints.
- Not maintaining balance and stability which can lead to ineffective execution.
- Compromising form by not keeping the core tight and engaged during the exercise.
