Single Leg Leg Extension
A strength exercise targeting the quadriceps by extending one leg at a time.
Instructions
- Sit on a leg extension machine, adjusting the pad to the front of one of your knees.
- Select a comfortable weight setting for your current leg.
- Use your quadriceps to extend the knee, lifting the weight.
- Slowly lower the weight back to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of reps before switching legs.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Using too much weight and compromising form.
- Not fully extending the leg, reducing the range of motion.
- Allowing the pads to slip down to the shin, losing effective resistance.
