Shoulder Circles
A gentle, dynamic stretching exercise to improve shoulder mobility and reduce tension.
Instructions
- Stand or sit with your back straight.
- Extend your arms out to the sides at shoulder height.
- Begin making small circles with your arms, gradually increasing the size of the circles.
- Perform the circles in one direction for a set period or number of repetitions.
- Switch directions and perform the circles for the same duration or number of repetitions.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Moving too quickly, which can cause strain.
- Allowing shoulders to hunch up towards the ears.
- Using jerky, uncontrolled movements.
