Seated Calf Stretch
Stretch to improve calf muscle flexibility by sitting with one leg extended and reaching towards the toes.
Instructions
- Sit on the floor with legs extended.
- Bend one knee and place the foot against the inner thigh of the opposite leg.
- Reach forward to grab the toes of the extended leg.
- Gently pull the toes towards you while keeping the extended knee straight.
- Hold the stretch for 15-30 seconds and repeat on the other leg.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Bouncing or jerking during the stretch.
- Bending the knee of the extended leg.
- Not breathing deeply or holding the breath.
