Seated Cable Rows
Seated Cable Rows are a pulling exercise that targets the muscles of the back, including the upper, middle, and lower back.
Instructions
- Sit at a rowing machine with your feet securely placed on the platform, knees slightly bent.
- Grab the handles with a neutral grip (palms facing each other).
- Pull the handles towards your torso, keeping your back straight and squeezing your shoulder blades together.
- Pause for a moment when the handles are close to your body.
- Slowly extend your arms back to the starting position, maintaining control of the weight.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Rounding the back instead of keeping it straight.
- Using the lower back to pull instead of the upper back.
- Not fully extending the arms during the return phase.
- Letting the weights stack hit the bottom or top.
