Russian Twist
A core exercise that targets the muscles of the trunk and spine.
Instructions
- Sit on the floor with your knees bent and feet flat. Lift your feet off the ground.
- Lean back slightly with your torso at a 45-degree angle to the floor.
- Hold your hands together and rotate your torso to the right, then to the left to complete one rep.
- Keep your core engaged and maintain balance.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Rounding the back
- Swinging weights instead of rotating waist
- Not engaging the core
- Lifting feet too high off the ground
