Push Ups Close Triceps Position
An exercise focusing on the triceps while performing a push-up with hands positioned close together.
Instructions
- Start in a plank position, with your hands close together directly under your chest.
- Lower your body to the floor, keeping your elbows close to your body.
- Push your body back up to the starting position, fully extending your arms.
- Keep your core engaged throughout the movement.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Flaring elbows out to the sides instead of keeping them close to the body.
- Allowing hips to sag or pike upwards.
- Not fully extending arms at the top of the movement.
- Placing hands too far forward or back, instead of under the chest.
