Plyo Push Up
A 200-characters-or-less explanation of the exercise.
Instructions
- Start in a traditional push-up position.
- Lower your body as in a push-up, then explode upwards, allowing your hands to leave the floor.
- Catch yourself as you return to the push-up position, softening the landing with your arms.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Not engaging the core, leading to poor form.
- Landing too hard on the hands, increasing injury risk.
- Failing to explode upwards sufficiently, minimizing the plyometric benefit.
