Plyo Kettlebell Pushups
A dynamic plyometric pushup variation using kettlebells to increase upper body power.
Instructions
- Place two kettlebells on the ground, handle side down.
- Get into a push-up position with one hand on each kettlebell.
- Lower your body towards the ground by bending your elbows.
- Explode upwards to lift your hands off the kettlebells.
- Land your hands back onto the kettlebells and immediately descend into the next repetition.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Not exploding upward enough to clear the kettlebells.
- Landing hard on the kettlebells which can lead to injury.
- Allowing the lower back to sag during the push-up.
- Not keeping the body aligned, leading to uneven push-ups.
