Narrow Stance Squats
A variation of the traditional squat targeting quadriceps with a narrow foot placement.
Instructions
- Stand with feet hip-width apart and pointed straight ahead.
- Engage your core and keep your chest up.
- Lower your body into a squat by bending your knees and pushing your hips back.
- Go as low as you can while keeping your heels on the ground.
- Push through your heels to return to the starting position.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Allowing knees to cave inward during the squat.
- Bending at the waist instead of the hips.
- Raising heels off the ground.
- Not squatting to a sufficient depth.
