Middle Back Stretch
A stretching exercise targeting the middle back muscles to improve flexibility and reduce tension.
Instructions
- Sit on the floor with your legs extended straight out in front of you.
- Cross your right foot over your left thigh and place it on the floor next to your left knee.
- Twist your torso to the right and place your left elbow on the outside of your right knee.
- Use your left elbow to gently push against your knee, increasing the twist.
- Place your right hand on the floor behind you for support.
- Hold the stretch for a few seconds, then repeat on the other side.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Twisting too quickly, leading to potential strain.
- Not keeping the back straight, which reduces the effectiveness of the stretch.
