Machine Shoulder (Military) Press
A shoulder exercise performed using a machine to aid in stability and control.
Instructions
- Sit down on the shoulder press machine and grasp the handles.
- Make sure your elbows are at a 90-degree angle and align with your shoulders.
- Exhale and press the handles upward until your arms are fully extended.
- Pause briefly at the top of the movement.
- Inhale and slowly return to the starting position.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Lifting too much weight, leading to improper form.
- Failing to fully extend the arms at the top of the movement.
- Allowing the elbows to flare outwards excessively.
- Not maintaining a straight back throughout the exercise.
