Lying Dumbbell Tricep Extension
An isolation exercise targeting the triceps.
Instructions
- Lie on a flat bench holding a dumbbell in each hand with arms fully extended above your chest.
- Keep your elbows close to your head and perpendicular to the floor.
- Slowly lower the dumbbells by bending at the elbows until they are near your ears.
- Extend your arms back to the starting position.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Flaring elbows out to the sides instead of keeping them close to the head.
- Using too much weight, leading to poor form and potential injury.
- Not lowering the dumbbells far enough, reducing range of motion.
