A tricep exercise performed using a low cable pulley to isolate the tricep muscles.
Instructions
- Attach a straight bar to the low pulley of a cable machine.
- Stand facing the machine and grab the bar with an overhand grip at shoulder-width.
- Step back slightly and lean forward slightly, keeping your elbows close to your body.
- Extend your arms downwards until they are fully straight, contracting your triceps.
- Slowly return to the starting position.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Flaring the elbows out to the side.
- Using momentum instead of controlling the movement.
