Leverage Shrug
Instructions
- Stand facing the machine, feet shoulder width apart.
- Grasp the handles with an overhand grip, arms extended down.
- Lift the handles by raising your shoulders towards your ears.
- Pause at the top position, squeezing the traps.
- Slowly lower the handles back to the start position.
- Repeat for the prescribed number of reps.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Using too much weight and using momentum.
- Not fully contracting the traps at the top.
- Allowing the shoulders to roll forward.
