Leverage Decline Chest Press
A chest exercise performed on a leverage machine targeting the lower chest muscles.
Instructions
- Adjust the seat height so that the handles are in line with your lower chest.
- Sit firmly on the seat with your back against the pad.
- Grasp the handles with an overhand grip.
- Press the handles forward until your arms are fully extended.
- Slowly return to the starting position without letting the weights stack touch.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Allowing the weights to touch between reps can reduce tension on your chest.
- Not fully extending the arms or locking the elbows.
- Using momentum or arching the back.
