Lateral Bound
The Lateral Bound is a great lower body exercise that focuses on lateral movement and improves coordination and agility.
Instructions
- Start standing with feet shoulder-width apart.
- Bend your knees slightly and push off your right foot, moving laterally to the left.
- Land on your left foot, with your knee slightly bent to absorb the impact.
- Immediately push off your left foot to bound back to the right side.
- Maintain your balance and aim for continuous movement.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Not bending the knees enough, causing stress on the joints.
- Landing too hard, not absorbing impact properly.
- Not maintaining a straight line in movement, leading to balance issues.
- Using upper body momentum to swing rather than pushing off explosively with the legs.
