Kneeling Cable Crunch With Alternating Oblique Twists
A kneeling cable crunch variation that incorporates oblique twists to target abdominal and oblique muscles.
Instructions
- Attach a rope handle to the high pulley of a cable machine.
- Kneel facing the machine and grasp the rope with both hands.
- Engage your core and pull the rope down, curling your body into a crunch while alternately twisting your torso towards each side.
- Return to the starting position with control and repeat.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Using momentum instead of core strength to perform the crunch.
- Not keeping the neck in a neutral position, leading to strain.
- Failing to engage the oblique muscles during the twist.
