Kettlebell Sumo High Pull
Instructions
- Stand with your feet wider than shoulder-width apart, toes slightly pointing out.
- Place a kettlebell between your feet.
- Bend your knees and push your hips back to lower your body and grab the kettlebell with both hands using an overhand grip.
- Drive through your heels to stand up, pulling the kettlebell up to your chin, keeping your elbows above your hands.
- Lower the kettlebell back to the start position and repeat.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Not keeping a straight back during the lift.
- Allowing the knees to cave inward.
- Using the arms to pull instead of driving with the legs and hips.
- Not keeping the elbows above the wrists during the pull.
