Iron Crosses (Stretch)
A dynamic stretch involving swinging the leg across the body to warm up the core and hip muscles.
Instructions
- Lie flat on your back with your arms extended out to the side.
- Lift one leg up and over the opposite leg towards your hand.
- Return to the starting position and repeat with the other leg.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Bending the knees instead of keeping the legs straight.
- Twisting the upper body and lifting shoulders off the ground.
- Not controlling the leg movement, leading to jerky motions.
