Inverted Row With Straps
An exercise focused on improving upper body strength using a suspension trainer or straps.
Instructions
- Secure the straps to an anchor above your height.
- Lie under the anchor point and hold the straps with both hands, palms facing down.
- Position your feet forward so your body is angled with the floor.
- Engage your core and pull your chest towards the anchor point.
- Squeeze your shoulder blades together at the top of the motion.
- Lower back to the starting position with control.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Not engaging the core, causing the hips to sag.
- Pulling with the arms instead of retracting the shoulder blades.
- Rushing through the movement without proper control.
- Letting the shoulders hunch forward during the pull.
