Incline Push Up Depth Jump
A combination exercise targeting both upper body strength and lower body explosiveness by utilizing incline push ups and depth jumps.
Instructions
- Start in a push-up position with your hands elevated on a sturdy platform or step.
- Perform an incline push-up by lowering your chest towards the platform and then push explosively back up.
- As you push up, move your feet forward and transition into a standing position.
- Immediately perform a depth jump by stepping off the platform and landing softly on the ground with knees slightly bent.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Dropping hips too low during the push-up phase.
- Not pushing explosively enough to transition between the push-up and jump.
- Failing to land softly during the depth jump, increasing risk of injury.
- Incorrect knee alignment during the landing.
