Incline Dumbbell Flyes With A Twist
A variation of the incline dumbbell flye that involves an added twist for increased muscle activation.
Instructions
- Lie back on an incline bench with a dumbbell in each hand, resting them on your thighs.
- Lift the dumbbells above you, shoulder-width apart, with palms facing each other.
- Slightly bend your elbows to lower the weights to the sides of your shoulders while twisting your wrists so that your palms end up facing you.
- Bring the dumbbells back to the starting position, reversing the twist, while squeezing your chest.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Not maintaining a slightly bent elbow throughout the movement.
- Using too much weight, leading to improper form and potential injury.
- Not performing a full range of motion in the flye.
- Rushing through the movements without controlled movements.
