Hyperextensions With No Hyperextension Bench
A core and lower back exercise performed without using a dedicated hyperextension bench.
Instructions
- Lie face down on a flat bench, with your upper body extending off the bench and your feet anchored under a stable support.
- Slowly lower your upper body towards the floor while keeping your back straight.
- Raise your body back up until your chest is in line with the bench.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Rounding the back during the movement.
- Using momentum instead of controlled movements.
- Overextending at the top of the movement.
