Hurdle Hops
Hurdle hops are plyometric exercises designed to increase agility and speed.
Instructions
- Set up a series of hurdles or markers in a straight line.
- Stand facing the first hurdle, about a foot away.
- Bend your knees slightly, swing your arms back, and jump over the hurdle with both feet.
- Land softly on the balls of your feet and immediately jump over the next hurdle.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Not landing softly, leading to potential injury.
- Not using arms effectively to aid in jumping.
- Starting too close to the hurdle, which can alter form.
