Hammer Grip Incline Db Bench Press
A chest exercise performed on an incline bench using dumbbells with a hammer grip.
Instructions
- Adjust an incline bench to a 30-45 degree angle.
- Sit on the bench with a dumbbell in each hand, arms fully extended overhead, palms facing each other.
- Lower the dumbbells to chest level by bending your elbows, keeping your palms facing each other and elbows close to your body.
- Press the dumbbells back up to the starting position, maintaining the hammer grip.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Allowing the elbows to flare out too much.
- Using too heavy weights, causing poor form.
- Not fully extending the arms at the top of the movement.
- Arching the back excessively during the press.
