Good Morning Off Pins
Strengthen your lower back and hamstrings with this unique good morning variation starting from pins.
Instructions
- Set up the bar on pins in a power rack at about hip height.
- Position yourself under the bar with your feet shoulder-width apart.
- Lift the bar off the pins by straightening your back and hips.
- Lower the bar by bending at the hips until your torso is almost parallel to the ground.
- Pause and then return to the starting position by extending your hips.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Rounding the back instead of keeping it straight.
- Not engaging the core for support.
- Starting the movement with the knees instead of the hips.
