Frog Sit Ups
A variation of sit-ups with a focus on the abdominals, performed with feet together and knees apart.
Instructions
- Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Bring your feet together and let your knees fall open to the sides resembling a frog position.
- Place your hands behind your head with elbows out to the sides.
- Engage your core and curl your shoulders off the ground, keeping your feet pressed together and knees apart.
- Pause at the top of the movement, then slowly lower back to the starting position.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Pulling on your neck with your hands instead of using your abs to lift.
- Not fully engaging the core, leading to ineffective movement.
- Letting the knees come together during the exercise.
