Frog Hops
A plyometric exercise that mimics the hopping of a frog, targeting leg muscles and improving agility.
Instructions
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
- Bend your knees and lower your hips into a squat position.
- Explosively jump forward, imitating the movement of a frog.
- Land softly on your feet and immediately go into the next squat to perform another hop.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Not landing softly, which can lead to joint stress.
- Using the back instead of the legs to jump, reducing effectiveness.
- Insufficient squat depth before hopping.
- Not maintaining a continuous movement, reducing the cardiovascular benefit.
