Freehand Jump Squat
A powerful lower body exercise that combines a traditional squat with a jump for an explosive workout.
Instructions
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, toes pointing slightly outward.
- Bend your knees and lower your body into a squat position, keeping your back straight and chest up.
- From the squat position, explode upwards into a jump, extending your arms above your head.
- Land softly back into the squat position, controlling your descent to minimize impact.
- Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Not landing softly and failing to control the descent.
- Allowing knees to collapse inward during the squat and jump.
- Failing to keep the back straight and chest up throughout the movement.
- Not using the arms to assist in the jump motion.
