Floor Press
A chest exercise performed lying on the floor, targeting the triceps and chest muscles.
Instructions
- Lie on the floor underneath the barbell in a smith machine.
- Position the hands on the barbell as wide as you're comfortable.
- Press the barbell straight up toward the ceiling by extending the elbows.
- Slowly lower the bar back to the starting position.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Using momentum to lift the bar.
- Not lowering the bar to the chest level.
- Bouncing the elbows off the floor for added momentum.
