Fast Skipping
A high-intensity cardiovascular exercise mimicking jump rope movements without the rope.
Instructions
- Stand upright with your feet together.
- Bend your elbows at your sides with your fists closed and forearms parallel to the ground.
- Begin hopping on the balls of your feet as if you were skipping a rope, alternating feet front and back or side to side.
- Keep a consistent, fast rhythm and maintain a light spring in your step.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Landing heavily on the heels instead of the balls of the feet.
- Failing to maintain a quick and consistent rhythm.
- Letting the arms flail or drop instead of maintaining elbow position.
