Dumbbell Squat To A Bench
A lower body exercise targeting quadriceps and glutes performed using dumbbells and a bench.
Instructions
- Stand in front of a bench with feet shoulder-width apart holding a dumbbell in each hand.
- Lower your body by bending at the hips and knees to sit down on the bench.
- Keep your back straight and engage your core as you lower yourself.
- Sit briefly on the bench and then push through your heels to stand back up to starting position.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Not keeping the back straight, causing strain.
- Letting the knees cave inward.
- Not using the full range of motion by not sitting fully on the bench.
- Using too heavy weights causing a loss of form.
