Dumbbell One Arm Triceps Extension
A strength exercise focusing on isolating the tricep muscle using a single dumbbell.
Instructions
- Stand up holding a dumbbell with one hand and your feet shoulder width apart.
- Raise the dumbbell above your head.
- Keeping your upper arm close to your head (elbow in), lower the dumbbell in a semi-circular motion behind your head.
- Hold the contraction for a second, then bring the dumbbell back to the starting position.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Using too much weight causing improper form.
- Allowing the elbow to flare outwards away from the head.
- Not maintaining a controlled motion throughout the exercise.
