Dumbbell Incline Row
A compound back exercise targeting the middle back, performed on an incline bench using dumbbells.
Instructions
- Set an incline bench at about 45 degrees.
- Lie face down on the bench with a dumbbell in each hand.
- Let your arms hang straight down towards the floor.
- Pull the dumbbells towards the bottom of your chest by flexing your elbows and retracting your shoulder blades.
- Pause briefly at the top of the movement, squeezing your shoulder blades together.
- Lower the dumbbells back to the starting position in a controlled manner.
- Repeat for the desired number of reps.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Using too much weight causing poor form.
- Shrugging the shoulders instead of retracting them.
- Swinging the weights using momentum instead of controlled movement.
