The Dumbbell Floor Press is a chest exercise performed by lying on the floor and pressing dumbbells upwards.
Instructions
- Lie on the floor with a dumbbell in each hand, elbows bent and upper arms resting on the floor.
- With your feet flat on the floor, maintain a firm overall posture.
- Press the dumbbells up by extending the elbows, keeping upper arms close to the sides.
- Lower the dumbbells until the elbows gently touch the floor, maintaining control.
- Repeat the pressing motion.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Dropping the elbows too rapidly to the floor.
- Arching the back excessively.
- Using too much weight causing poor form.
