Dumbbell Bench Press With Neutral Grip
A bench press variation using dumbbells held in a neutral grip to target the chest and triceps.
Instructions
- Lie back on a bench holding a dumbbell in each hand with a neutral grip, palms facing each other.
- Plant your feet firmly on the ground.
- Position the dumbbells at the sides of your chest with elbows bent.
- Press the dumbbells upward until your arms are fully extended.
- Slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Flaring elbows out too wide.
- Lifting hips off the bench.
- Using too much weight which compromises form.
