Double Kettlebell Push Press
The double kettlebell push press involves lifting two kettlebells overhead with a little help from the legs, combining elements of both the shoulder press and squat.
Instructions
- Start with feet shoulder-width apart and hold a kettlebell in each hand at shoulder height.
- Keep a tight core and slightly bend the knees to gain momentum from the legs.
- Explosively extend the knees while pushing the kettlebells overhead.
- Lower the kettlebells back to shoulder height under control.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Neglecting to use the legs to assist the push, resulting in excessive arm strain.
- Overarching the back instead of keeping a straight posture during the press.
- Letting the kettlebells tilt too far forward or backward, disrupting balance.
