Decline Dumbbell Triceps Extension
A triceps exercise performed on a decline bench using dumbbells.
Instructions
- Lie on a decline bench with a dumbbell in each hand.
- Hold the dumbbells above your chest with your arms extended and palms facing each other.
- Keeping your upper arms stationary, slowly lower the dumbbells by bending your elbows.
- Lower the dumbbells until your forearms are beyond parallel to the floor.
- Pause briefly at the bottom, then extend your arms to return to the starting position.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Using too much weight and compromising form.
- Allowing your elbows to flare out.
- Failing to keep your upper arms stationary.
- Performing the exercise too quickly.
